Splendidly Blended podcast 10 - Oct 08

New podcast is here young lovers.

This is a special one which is completely dedicated to strings. Apart from track one which is a cover of a track by one of my favourite users of strings, everything that follows is a collection of my favourite tracks that have made incredible use of strings. Whether it be in soul, jazz or even more mainstream things.

There's loads more that could have gone in. There are no TSOP tracks in here! But maybe I'll do another one soon.

Tracklist to follow later. But for now enjoy the tunes.

Splendidly Blended Podcast number 9

It's nearly christmas!

Well it might as well be. The weather outside is frightful. This time I have for you a collection of mostly new bits and pieces, some so new they are very exclusive indeed.

A little bit of Stevie in here as well in the lead up to the BIG 02 gig coming up next month.

I'm actually a little bit ill, so this is quite a laid back affair, nothing too energetic. This podcast also is a return to me muttering all over the tunes, so I hope you don't mind - some people actually seem to like it and you can't ignore good taste/feedback.

So, as ever, please enjoy.

About

"Scrimshire’s sound is steeped in jazz, soul and funk, but with a nod to contemporary sounds, and with strong popular song writing sensibilities. This man knows how to write a tune!!"
