I have a new record out today! The first from new album The Hollow. It features the incredible Faye Houston on vocals.

I hope you enjoy this new thing. It also features remixes from Captain Planet and Paper Tiger and I thought you might enjoy a little acoustic version… although it does have me singing on it so – well, see what you think.

    Words from the label:

This October sees the return of singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, producer, DJ and erstwhile Wah Wah 45s label boss, Adam Scrimshire, with the debut offering to be taken from his second album “The Hollow”.

“Home” is a good place to start for this latest opus, representing as it does a trip back in time to the roots of this young man’s music, albeit with a quite contemporary electronic edge. Stunning harmonies come courtesy of our very own Faye Houston from dub reggae favourites Resonators, and bass worrying dance floor interpretations are taken care of by U.S. heavyweight Captain Planet and those young turks from Leeds, Paper Tiger. But if time is needed for reflection, look no further than Scrimshire’s own acoustic ‘re-version’, with the man himself laying his soul bare on vocal duties.

“The Hollow” will be released by Wah Wah 45s on November 21st. Look out for the brand new live Scrimshire band at The Scala on October 15th, and at the album launch at the Queen Of Hoxton on November 11th

jesuiskablamO thanks for saying hello - and for listening. 7 hours ago andyw1 PHEW! thanks Andy! 7 hours ago dannyjlewis @ScottWozniak but posting it anywhere is no better than Sony hiking the Whitney prices when she died. Gold rush. 11 hours ago dannyjlewis @ScottWozniak if its for personal live use I could see doing an edit. People always want that cathartic community connection. 11 hours ago dannyjlewis it's a difficult call. Ultimately it depends on the person right? I think a remix or edit is wrong. A tribute mix not so much. 12 hours ago
