Splendidly Blended podcast 16 – August 09
CARNIVAL! In 2 hours, after a quick haircut and a final root through my records I’m heading off to the Metropolitan for the Part Time Heroes Takeover.
A big old all dayer with the Heroes themselves, Nextmen, Rob Luis, Tarrbaby, Dom Servini, myself and a few others. Should be very big indeed – except I do have to vacate the place with Dom straight after our set to shoot accross to the opposite side of London for the Wah Wah Eastend Carnival Party at the Vibe Bar (that will be interesting).
But – more about this podcast.
I’m quite excited about this one. This goes from the dubbier side of things right through to a bit of disco and a few things between. There are some tracks that you may well be able to locate out there on the internet as totally legit freebies. There are so many about these days and the quality of stuff flying about is just crazy. So seek out and find all these artists, you won’t regret it.
So, get stuck in – I’m of to Carnival and then tomorrow Croatia! Yep Disco 3000 is here! Can’t wait.
